Does your career make a real difference to people's lives?
Do you work to improve the environment?
Are you a fair trade organisation?
Then we have an audience for you!
Here at Sheffield we have a large number of students looking for a career where they can make a real difference to people's lives, to communities, and to the environment. So, we're bringing them altogether!
The Careers That Make A Difference Fair will:
•provide an online space where students and graduates can meet 'virtually' with organisations that make a real difference to people and the environment;
•showcase a wide range of career options, from teaching through to regeneration;
•highlight graduate vacancies, internships, placement opportunities and work experience options;
•run online from Monday 18th October - Friday 12th November 2010.
We are aware that on campus recruitment visits can be expensive and resource intensive, and we understand that some organisations, especially those that are not-for-profit, are unable to commit to such activities. Our online fair offers you a simple and cost-effective way to combat this. Stands cost just £95 plus VAT with registered charities able to participate free of charge.
The Fair is open to all students at The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University. In addition, we expect the Fair to be of interest to students studying at other UK universities and organisations taking part may therefore find that students from outside of Sheffield will also contact you.
