21/12/2011Evaluating Graduate Recruitment Effectiveness - Two day Expertise Workshop - London
The current economic climate and the sharp focus on spend and associated return means that graduate and placement schemes are coming under the microscope like never before. Recruiters are routinely facing questions about efficiency, speed to value, tangible returns and even the very justification of their schemes.
Being able to evaluate and articulate the effectiveness of your graduate recruitment and development programme is vital if you are to answer these questions. A better understanding will lead you towards a more focused, cost effective process that delivers real value to your business and safeguards the future of your schemes.
This workshop focuses on the impact of graduate recruitment on the organisation. It also explores a number of techniques for measuring the effectiveness of graduate selection, marketing and development, to ensure that you have cost effective processes and can demonstrate return on investment.
By the end of the workshop you will know how to:
• Identify and understand the impact of graduate recruitment activity on both operational and strategic business activity
• Align graduate recruitment activity to personal / departmental / functional / business objectives and drivers
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of key graduate recruitment / marketing / development activities
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to measure programme effectiveness
• Identify the wider business measures that graduate recruiters are responsible for, i.e. budget, people resource
• Engage key programme stakeholders in the measurement of graduate recruitment, report and communicate key findings and make appropriate recommendations for change
• Demonstrate the return on investment of graduate recruitment
