Carl will set the scene by explaining the recent changes in the industry that makes the question “Time to review your target university list?” more important than ever before to ensure the strategy is right for your company.


10:30 Rachel Rotherham, Graduate Programme Manager, The Co-op

Rachel will share the Co-op approach to engaging with universities and how they select the ones they work with, followed by details of the recent success the retail sector experienced collaborating with Kingston university on their “Retail Uncovered” event for students.


11.00 Marc Lintern, Head of Employability, Plymouth University

Marc recently wrote an article for AGR’s Graduate Recruiter magazine highlighting the ways modern universities are rising to the challenge of increasing graduates employability. In this session Marc will bring this article to life with examples of how employers have been seeing benefits from working with “new” universities such as Plymouth.

Cat will talk about the rationale behind their recent decision to review their target university list and how they are going about setting a strategy that is aligned with their hiring requirements using industry data to inform their thinking.
