Development Network Meeting

The AGR Development Network meets up to three times a year. This year, meetings are scheduled to take place in May, August and November.

Cass Business School MSc Careers Fair

We are now taking bookings for the Cass Careers fair from employers, who are keen to engage with the pool of talented students who study with us. Cass is the largest supplier of Specialist Masters programmes in Europe, attracting students from across the globe. Our MSc Students have varying degrees of experience, suitable for both graduate entry-level roles and experienced hire positions. Both current students and the class of 2012 will be invited to the event.

Whether you are new to recruiting at City or have a strong history of hiring our students and graduates, many of them will be learning about your organisation for the very first time. However, there are a number of ways to make our students more aware of the opportunities your organisation has to offer and why they should consider you. The fairs we run are sector-specific to enable the largest attendance drawn from our diverse student assembly. The fairs are a useful and easy way to meet the students and advertise the opportunities within your organisation and what the requirements are for graduates to be successful applicants with you.

Aston University Careers in Engineering and Technology Fair

The Engineering and Technology Fair, is aimed at all final year students from the School of Engineering and Applied Science, but we also welcome recruiters with summer internships or placements to fill as well as those with graduate positions. Please note that second year students who are looking for placements and first years looking for summer work experience may also attend. 45 organisations attended the event held on 31 October 2012 which attracted over 400 students in three hours. This event gives employers the opportunity to: Promote your graduate opportunities to final year undergraduates and postgraduate students Promote your internship and placement opportunities to students in earlier years of study Raise the profile of your organisation with Aston University students

Retail Careers Uncovered at Kingston University

We want to change preconceptions students may have, and show that retail is not just about working on a till or stacking shelves! Retail Careers Uncovered showcases the wide variety of roles within the retail sector, from buying to logistics, merchandising to operations and everything in between. This event gives the opportunity to bring your organisation to life and profile specific roles you may have difficulty filling to; final year and postgraduate students looking for graduate schemes, as well as first and second year students looking for internships and placements. Attending students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and subject areas, and have a specific interest in retail. We can also target specific degrees with our promotional material to ensure the students you want are there.
