Graduate Fairs

We are now taking bookings for the Cass Careers fair from employers, who are keen to engage with the pool of talented students who study with us. Cass is the largest supplier of Specialist Masters programmes in Europe, attracting students from across the globe. Our MSc Students have varying degrees of experience, suitable for both graduate entry-level roles and experienced hire positions. Both current students and the class of 2012 will be invited to the event.

Whether you are new to recruiting at City or have a strong history of hiring our students and graduates, many of them will be learning about your organisation for the very first time. However, there are a number of ways to make our students more aware of the opportunities your organisation has to offer and why they should consider you. The fairs we run are sector-specific to enable the largest attendance drawn from our diverse student assembly. The fairs are a useful and easy way to meet the students and advertise the opportunities within your organisation and what the requirements are for graduates to be successful applicants with you.

The Engineering and Technology Fair, is aimed at all final year students from the School of Engineering and Applied Science, but we also welcome recruiters with summer internships or placements to fill as well as those with graduate positions. Please note that second year students who are looking for placements and first years looking for summer work experience may also attend. 45 organisations attended the event held on 31 October 2012 which attracted over 400 students in three hours. This event gives employers the opportunity to: Promote your graduate opportunities to final year undergraduates and postgraduate students Promote your internship and placement opportunities to students in earlier years of study Raise the profile of your organisation with Aston University students

We want to change preconceptions students may have, and show that retail is not just about working on a till or stacking shelves! Retail Careers Uncovered showcases the wide variety of roles within the retail sector, from buying to logistics, merchandising to operations and everything in between. This event gives the opportunity to bring your organisation to life and profile specific roles you may have difficulty filling to; final year and postgraduate students looking for graduate schemes, as well as first and second year students looking for internships and placements. Attending students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and subject areas, and have a specific interest in retail. We can also target specific degrees with our promotional material to ensure the students you want are there.

The London Graduate Fair from The Careers Group and TARGETjobs.co.uk is one of the largest and most prestigious graduate recruitment events in Europe. The fair brings together two of the biggest names in graduate recruitment. It attracts graduates and students from universities across the UK and the world, as well as recruiters from top global organisations.

The Scottish Graduate Fair is the highlight of the recruitment season. Now in its 24th year, it is the biggest graduate, postgraduate and internship recruitment event in Scotland attracting over 3,500 students and graduates of all disciplines and approximately 100 graduate employers and postgraduate recruiters. Students and graduates from all universities are welcome to attend.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) Recruitment and Opportunities Fair is an ideal opportunity to publicise your firm and attract new applications.

This annual showcase event is open to students and graduates seeking information on graduate opportunities, industrial placements, vacation work schemes and alternative options such as teaching and charity work. The event has grown each year with now over 80 employers attending our 2012 Fair with interest from some 2,700 students.

The Autumn Graduate Fair is based at ExCel on the 23rd of October 2013 and will be attracting Graduates from all over the UK. The Autumn Graduate Fair is the largest graduate jobs and careers fair of the autumn, with prestigious graduate employers attending. The fair features jobs, postgrad study, gap year options, career advice and competitions all for free.

The Careers in Business and Management Fair, is aimed at all final year students at the University, but we also welcome recruiters with summer internships or placements to fill as well as those with graduate positions. Please note that 2nd year students who are looking for placements and 1st years looking for summer work experience may also attend. 55 organisations attended last year's event which attracted more than 800 students.

Public Sector & Charity Careers Uncovered showcases organisations in the public and charity sector, and the types of opportunities available to students. This event gives the opportunity to bring your organisation to life and profile specific roles you may have difficulty filling to; final year and postgraduate students looking for graduate schemes, as well as first and second year students looking for internships and placements. Attending students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and subject areas. We can also target specific degrees with our promotional material to ensure the students you want are there.
