Award Description and Focus

The award is designed to acknowledge good practice in Selection & Assessment.

Ensuring ethical and effective Selection & Assessment processes is a significant and ongoing challenge. An ever changing landscape – increasing volumes of applications, variety of languages, wide ranging cultural backgrounds and ever tighter timescales - continues to exact increasingly demanding requirements of graduate recruiters. Executional excellence and solid communications are more imperative than ever before.

Award Assessment Criteria

The following guidelines were used to judge entries for this award.

  • Vision – what are you trying to achieve with your graduate selection and assessment? (300 words max.)
  • Highlights – highlights of the candidate experience (300 words max.)
  • Process Governance – how do you manage and monitor the process to ensure consistence and validity? (300 words max.)
  • Impact - what were the quantitative and qualitative results/measurements? (where possible, please provide statistics and other evidence which demonstrates high performance in the business in graduates later on)
