Reporting to the Development Schemes Recruitment Manager, the team is responsible for the attraction and recruitment of graduate, apprentice, year in industry and placement schemes across TfL. Managing university & campus relationships, assessment centres through to offer and on-boarding.
Role Purpose & Requirements
The Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Consultant will have direct responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with key contacts at UK universities and schools, managing recruitment activities as well as conducting candidate interviews and managing assessment centres.
Knowledge and experience of recruiting in the Graduate and Apprentice Schemes market place is essential as well as the willingness to travel. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong communication skills and business acumen, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Ideally CIPD qualified, you will have a good understanding of the Schemes Recruitment space and solid experience of running assessment centres, coupled with the ability to liaise with senior business stakeholders.
As a Graduate and Apprentice Recruitment Consultant you will need to demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm to position TfL as an employer of choice for development schemes and continually enhance Transport for London’s’ development schemes brand in the market place.

If so, we have three vacancies on the AGR Board of Directors. The AGR is undergoing a period of considerable change as we seek to add more value to members. As a Director you could play a key part helping create a new AGR.
Please have a read of our constitution for more details on the legal requirements regarding the role.
Time commitment will be a number of board meetings each year and the time to engage in other AGR activities as the role dictates.
