A chance to work in an award winning Graduate team! The Graduate Development Team sits within the Graduate Team, in the HR department. The Graduate team has two halves: the Graduate Recruitment Team and the Graduate Development Team, the teams work together to recruit and support graduates on our Trainee programme. Clifford Chance recruits around 100 graduates a year into the trainee lawyer programme, and in addition runs vacation schemes, open days and many other events for prospective trainee applicants. The recruitment team manages the marketing and attraction, the selection and assessment and the offer process for graduates applying for a place on our award winning Trainee programme.
Clifford Chance recently won Graduate Employer of the Year at the National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2014, and The Times Employer of Choice for Law, 2014. In addition the Graduate Development Team has won awards from the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) in their Development Awards, winning the ‘Overall Graduate Development Award’ for their ‘Performance Optimisation Programme’, which also won the ‘Strategic Alignment’ award. As an HR Advisor (HRA) you will work within the Graduate Development team, providing administrative support to the team and resolving queries from internal and external clients of the team in order to support the wider HR team and the firm.

Recruitment Account Manager - Development Schemes - Transport for London
Reporting to the Capability Development Schemes Manager, the Development Schemes Recruitment team are responsible for all graduate, year in industry, apprenticeships and placement schemes across TfL. The team manage all schemes recruitment from attraction through to on boarding inclusive of schools and university campus work as well as assessment centres.
TfL’s graduate and apprenticeship schemes are part of our key strategic commitment to develop future talent not only within the organisation but for the wider transport industry. As such we have continued to grow and increase the number of programmes offered over the past three years, with a planned intake of c200 graduate and undergraduates for 2015 and in excess of 100 apprentices.
The Graduate Recruitment Team Manager is responsible for leading a team of 8 who are accountable for attracting, assessing and on boarding graduates and apprentices across the business. With strong supplier and customer management skills, you will demonstrate the ability to influence at senior level and make sound decisions based on business needs and best industry practice.
Knowledge and experience of recruiting in the entry level recruitment market place is preferred, as is the ability to design and manage high quality end-to-end pan TfL resourcing solutions this includes entry level schemes for graduates, apprentices, school leavers, placements, work experience, E & I placements and work experience initiatives.
As the Graduate Recruitment Schemes Manager you will need to demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm to position TfL as an employer of choice and continually enhance Transport for London’s’ brand in the market place e.g.Times Top 100.

We were the first for-profit private company to be granted degree awarding powers by the Privy Council in 2007 and in 2013 were granted full UK University status.BPP University Careers Service provides a range of generic and specialised careers advice and guidance support to students across the Schools of Law, Business, Health and Foundation and English Studies.
To provide a full range of careers guidance activities, including one to one support, workshops and presentations, to students studying across all programmes, but primarily, to law postgraduate and undergraduate students in London and through some travel to our site in Cambridge.
The post-holder is expected to:
1. provide key services across the London sites (Holborn and Waterloo) and some travel to Cambridge including but not limited to:
one-to-one appointments and drop-ins (in person and online) for all sites
response to emailed requests including quick queries and document reviews
a range of careers workshops and other activities, both within academic programmes and independently
developing relationships with employers in order to create mentoring and placement opportunities, and involve them in employer talks, careers fairs and vacancy advertisements
promotion of the service to potential students through open days, to current staff and students, and to employers
involvement of tutors in mock interviews
provide consultancy to academic colleagues in preparing their students for their working life,
2. assist in similar provision at other sites as required,

8. record data on services provided, and produce reports and statistics as required,
9. make suggestions for improvements to and development of the Careers Service, and work on the implementation of changes where required,
10. maintain an awareness of current developments in relevant areas, and of developments in the practices of peers and competitors,
11. adhere to policies of the Careers Service and the wider company, in particular in relation to confidentiality, data protection, health and safety and equal opportunities,
12. and perform from time to time such other duties as may be consistent with the post.
The candidate will be educated to degree level, and have experience in careers or recruitment services.
The post is full-time plus availability on one evening per week in return for time off in lieu. The post holder will also be required to work occasional weekends or other evenings for which overtime will be paid.
