Finance Director, Rebecca Fielding, Head of Leadership and Culture, ASDAA Chemistry graduate from Sheffield University I spent my first few years in HR with AON in Sheffield supporting the recruitment for three new offices in Cardiff, London and Edinburgh. A move in 2002 took me to the Co-operative Group where I held roles in HR, training & development, recruitment and latterly as the Group Graduate Programme Manager. This was a new role that encompassed all elements of Graduate attraction, recruitment and development. In December 2006 I joined HJ Heinz as Talent Manager for the UK&I, a role that continued by involvement with undergraduate and graduate programmes whilst also moving into wider talent management such as performance management, calibre analysis, management development, resourcing and attraction. I moved into my current role with Asda in September 2008. My role now involves leadership development programmes (from apprentices and graduates up to senior management), leadership behaviours, talent strategy, training, performance management and more. I met the AGR team at my first AGR conference in 2004 (if you’ve never been - book now – it’s fantastic fun and a great learning atmosphere), where I was so enthused that I just had to become part of the team! From joining the membership task group in 2004, I joined the Board in 2005, and in 2006 I took up the role as Chair of the education & training task group and most recently was elected as Finance Director in 2007. When I do get any spare time I’ll admit my favourite pass-time is sharing a glass of wine and a fabulous meal with my husband Daniel! | |
