Supplying Artwork
Artwork should be supplied in either QuarkXpress 4.1, Adobe Photoshop 6 or Illustrator 8 formats (.qxd, .jpg, .tif, .eps)
Do not supply any artwork via Email or supplied in Word, Publisher, Freehand, Illustrator 9, QuarkXpress eps, FNT, DCS or ADS formats.
All artwork should be in CMYK colour (not RGB or Spot colours), 300 dots per inch (dpi), 150 lines per inch (1pi) (Images are not to be scaled above 100% or below 70% in QuarkXpress. Trapping must be set accordingly to the advert. All fonts should be Postcript fonts (not Truetype) and supplied or turned into outline (curves, shapes). A colour proof is essential. Supplied PDF’s will be opened in Photoshop and re-PDF’d to our specifications.

Supplying Artwork

Incorrect Artwork
The publishers cannot be held responsible for any artwork setup or typographic errors.
Any artwork amendments found after supplying will result in a £40.00+VAT charge.

Conditions
1. Costs
Rates are exclusive of VAT.
2. Orders
Cancellations cannot be accepted from Advertisers after either acceptance of proof or submission of finished copy. It is the advertisers responsibility to notify AGR within 7 days of receipt of any order acknowledgement, if the booking details are incorrect.
3. Credit Terms
Payment shall be made within 14 days of the invoice.
4. General
A. The advertiser accept that the Advertiser is a principal in law and accordingly warrants that
all copy and its constituent parts, when submitted for production and upon publication shall:-
i. be neither deflamatory nor obscene in all respects with the requirements of the British
Code of Advertising Practice and other relevant industry coded, and
ii. comply with and not contravene the requirements of (a) any Act of Parliament statutory
instrument code of practice or regulation promulgated thereunder, including any law of
the European Community for the time being in force applicable in the United Kingdom,
and (b) any acts, decrees, regulations or authorities in those markets in which the
advertisement (and in particular comparative advertising) may be accessed:
iii. not breach any contract or infringe or violate any copyright trade mark or other
personal or proprietary right of any person or entity or render AGR liable to any
proceedings whatsoever wheresoever.
B. Errors in any advertisement must be notified to AGR immediately. If the advertisement
appears incorrectly and is the fault of AGR, then AGR can reproduce the advertisement
correctly in a following edition for a discounted price. The price will be at AGR’s discretion.
The original must be paid in full.
C. AGR reserve the right to refuse, amend, withdraw or otherwise deal with all advertisements
submitted to him at his absolute discretion and without explanation.
D. AGR will not be liable for any loss or damage, consequential or otherwise occasioned by error, late publication or the failure of an advertisment to appear for any cause whatsoever.
E. AGR reserve the right to increase advertisement rates at any time or to amend the terms of
contract as regards space.
