Demand for Graduates set to increase.

More than half of all graduate employers use at least five different selection methods, with assessment centres and face-to-face interviews held to be the most effective. Interviews are used more or less universally while nearly two-thirds use electronic application forms.

Regarding online candidate attraction, more than three-quarters of employers advertise vacancies on their own corporate websites, with around a third utilising external providers' sites. Over a third use thier own websites plus commerical job boards.

More than 80% of new graduates recruited into traditional 'graduate roles' now go straight into formal development programmes, typically of two years' duration.
