Kingston University's Student Service & Administration Department is looking for a forward thinking, people-orientated careers or graduate recruitment professional to drive our new careers and employability strategy forward.
Your mission will be:
- To develop and implement a programme of in-curriculum and extra-curricular activities to improve the career-readiness of Kingston University students.
- To lead and manage a new team of faculty-based Employability Co-ordinators and central careers and employability support staff to deliver that programme, including setting and maintaining the standards of the services delivered by the team.
- To participate in University-wide initiatives to develop a co-ordinated approach to employability and employer engagement.
With our new structure in place, we are keen to move from the traditional to the vanguard of Careers and Employability support for students, so if you have a sharp understanding of the employability issues faced by both students and graduate employers today, and even sharper ideas for how to solve them, plus the drive to see them through, then we want to hear from you.
You should have a robust understanding of the emerging field of employability and graduate recruitment trends, experience of people management, and preferably experience of working with students - on either side of the graduate recruitment fence.
