HEAR and Social Mobility

For the past few months AGR has been undertaking a BIS funded project into the Higher Education Achievement Report and Social Mobility in Recruitment.

HEAR toolkit The project, which is soon to end, included the production of two practical toolkits for employers, which you can download here:

  • The first toolkit offers a detailed guide to the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), explaining both the common misconceptions about the HEAR, as well as the reasons why you should support it.
  • The second toolkit focuses on Social Mobility , outlining the steps you and your organisation can take to remove barriers to candidates from less privileged backgrounds.

Social Mobility toolkit While our BIS-funded project is coming to an end, AGR’s involvement in these areas is really only just beginning.

We hope that by sharing these toolkits with you, we have provided the stimulus and direction needed to change the face of graduate recruitment in the UK forever. By driving change in these areas, together we have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a significant revolution in the graduate employment and higher education landscapes.

We urge you to make full use of these toolkits, circulating them to members of your team to raise awareness.

If you have any questions, or would like any more information about these projects, please get in touch with us at info@agr.org.uk
